GenQuest Sample Collection

For Court Admissible Tests, GenQuest DNA Analysis Laboratory can make arrangements for sample collection throughout the United States. We will provide a convenient location, date, and time for your collection. Testing arrangements can be made by calling GenQuest at (877) 362-5227 or (775) 358-0652.

Buccal Swabs

The standard collection of samples by GenQuest is a safe and reliable procedure that uses Buccal Swabs. The collection procedure is a painless non-invasive procedure in which cheek cells are collected on foam tipped applicators and then transferred to FTA cards (specially treated paper) or collected with cotton tipped swabs for transport and testing.

Buccal swabs allow for the collection from newborns, children and adults. Buccal Swabs are a very efficient method of collecting samples and seldom require recollection of samples. Under special circumstances arrangements can be made to use umbilical cord blood, venous blood, tissues, bone and other body fluids.

Personal Paternity Screening Tests

In Personal Paternity Screening Tests, collection kits and instructions are mailed to the individuals involved in the testing. The collections are performed by the individuals in the privacy of their own homes. The samples are then mailed back to the laboratory for testing. Screening tests are not court admissible tests. (Not an AABB Accredited Test)

GenQuest DNA Lab accepts certified check, money order, Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express.

Court Admissible DNA Parentage Testing Trio

Trio consists of mother, child, and alleged father.
$135 per person + DNA collection fee

Court Admissible Single Parent-Child Parentage Test

$135 per sample + DNA collection fee

Court Admissible Grand Parentage Test

$135 per sample + DNA collection fee

Immigration or INS Test

$175 per sample + DNA collection fee and shipment, if applicable

Screening Test (Not an AABB Accredited Test)

$60 per sample

Service Payment

Testing procedures are completed within 5-7 days. If you need results immediately,

  • 1-Day Stat: Additional $200 dollars on the case
    We must be notified of the 1-day at least 24 hours in advance to make sure that PCR is held for the day, and the samples must be received at the lab by 8:30am the day you wish the testing to begin.
  • 3-Day Stat: Additional $100 dollars on the case
    Results will be available by 5:00 PM the 3rd business day after the samples are received.
