Results
Results from GenQuest DNA Analysis Laboratory are typically released
within 5 to 7 working days after the samples are received by our laboratory.
Non-Standard samples may take additonal processing time. Results are
based on 16 or more alleles (genes) between the child and the alleged relative.
The results of all allele tests and statistics are listed on a paternity test report
which is sent only to the persons or agencies involved in the test. The final
result is listed as an inclusion or exclusion. Inclusions are listed with a probability
of paternity usually greater than 99.9%. Exclusions eliminate the alleged parent
as the biological parent.
The results of a paternity screening test cannot be used in a court of law
